Will TrustMark accept my report, and why don't modelled bridges appear on the material list?

Short answer: this is expected behaviour, and your model is still correct and compliant.

When you model a thermal bridge — for example uninsulated roof timbers — it is fully included in the Psi-value calculation. What it isn't included in is the report's material list, so an auditor reviewing only that list may not see the bridge and may query the detail or ask for an "alternative detail."

Why this happens

The material list documents the construction build-up layers. A bridge is a calculation element applied to the model, not a build-up material — so it doesn't appear in that list even though it is fully accounted for in the result.

If TrustMark or an auditor queries it

  1. Share the rejection or query letter with us, so we can see exactly what is being asked.

  2. Submit the full, software-generated AutoPSI report — not screenshots of the calculator.

  3. Include your assessor/retrofit-coordinator narrative explaining the junction alongside the report.

  4. Where needed, we can provide a confirmation letter stating the bridge has been modelled correctly and is included in the calculation.

What TrustMark is usually looking for

A properly generated software report plus the supporting narrative for the junction — not standalone images. Providing both, with the confirmation letter where required, resolves the large majority of these queries.

Still stuck? Send us the junction link and the auditor's feedback and we'll help you respond.
