Why does the same junction give a different Psi value in Quick Draw and Free Draw?

Bridges don't transfer when a junction is converted to Free Draw, and layer misalignment creates a phantom cold spot — re-add bridges and align layers so the two methods match.

When a junction is converted into Free Draw, bridges and applied data are not carried across automatically — they must be re-added manually. A small misalignment between layers can also create a phantom cold spot that changes the result.

To get the two methods to agree: re-add any bridges, make sure every layer is snapped flush with no gaps, and confirm each boundary sits on the correct surface. Once aligned, Quick Draw and Free Draw produce the same Psi.

Two things that catch people out: snapping only engages on bridges and boundaries, and your projects list is sorted by most-recently-updated, not alphabetically.
